Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Affinity Platforms (“we”, “us”) collects and processes personal data when you visit our website or get in touch with us. We handle information in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Affinity Platforms is a software company based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. For privacy questions, contact us at hello@affinityplatforms.com.

How you can contact us

This website does not include an online contact form. You can get in touch by emailing hello@affinityplatforms.com or by booking a discovery call through our booking link. If you email us or schedule a call, we will process the details you choose to provide.

Information we collect

  • Enquiry and project information — name, email address, organisation and any message content you send us by email or share on a discovery call.
  • Technical data — standard server and hosting logs may record IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. This is used for security, reliability and troubleshooting, not for marketing profiles.

We do not currently run website analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) or advertising trackers on this site. Optional analytics will only be enabled if you consent via our cookie bar (“Accept all”).

How we use your information

  • To respond to enquiries and arrange discovery conversations.
  • To manage projects and our relationship with you and your organisation.
  • To operate, secure and maintain this website.

Legal basis for processing

Depending on the activity, we rely on: our legitimate interests in running and securing the website and responding to business enquiries; taking steps toward a contract at your request; and, where required, your consent.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell your personal data. We may use trusted providers (for example email hosting or booking tools) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@affinityplatforms.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do.
